I thought it would be nice to have one ongoing thread where we can post funny things that we find on the net. It could be articles, photos, video, or whatever. That way you can all reap the rewards of the countless hours I spend sifting through the garbage.

Why English is important (maybe Berlitz's only contribution worth noting)

Chinese Backstreet Boys (these two remind me of some of my hilarious korean students back in the day)

Gem Sweater (this one is for anyone like me whose mother wears things like this, or basically anyone who suffered through some bad 80s fashion)

enjoy

If you include the http:// stuff, you do NOT need to use the URL tag...

That is a recent development, by the way, so the bugs may not be worked out.

I've also created links lately just using "www." no http:// required

www.google.com

Neat! But where's the instructions?

Deep thoughts from the Subjunctive Mood (This little monologue by a personified mood is so dorky only an ESL teacher could appreciate it.)

I just watched a video about the dirtiest joke ever told. I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate it into a lesson plan.

www.thearistocrats.com

A teacher goes into a meeting with the DO and says "Wait till you hear about this lesson plan I've been developing...."

Laughing
Just kidding. Seemed like a good place to share this though!
