sounds anoying to work over the border mang, thats alot of extra crap to deal with, but shopping there seems really worth the trip, and 200,000 hk ppl live there commute evertday

I don't think edward gets the swipe card that HK residents can use to cross the border - he is a visitor, after all! He will always have to collect stamps on both sides.

I am in a similar situation although I do not work on one side of the Shenzhen river and live on the other side. I visit HK and Macau regularly, and that fills up my passport pages pretty fast.

One time, I had to apply for a new passport before the visa in the old one expired; I was thus made to travel with two passports - one that was invalidated with holes but was "valid" as it contained my mainland visa, the other to collect the stamps and to go abroad because it was the only passport still valid.

I don't think you will want to use two passports to cross the border for months!!!

I would really live an invitation from a Shenznen dwelling ELT to give me a tour, expian about the areas.

I am open to invitations.
