Calling ALL English teachers in ANY Latin American country.

I'd like to know if any teachers out there would be willing to let me visit him/her for a week and do some job shadowing? Follow you around, get a feel for what the job is like? I'm really interested in Bolivia, Chile, Venezuela, Mexico, Costa Rica, and even Spain. I have been contemplating this for a while now and thought there might be a teacher out there willing to show me the ropes. I'd be able to help pay for a week's stay at your place. I can sleep on the couch or help with cooking and cleaning.

About me. I'm 31, Asian-America from the U.S.A. I have a B.A. in International Relations/Global Studies and a minor in Ethnic studies. I've done some (volunteer) teaching English for small non-profit organizations and I have an extensive work history teaching kids ages 10-13. I have taught creative writing, math, and reading for young kids too.

If there are any takers, please reply. I don't have a TEFL certificate but am realy hoping to just by with my B.A. and teaching experience. I'm nervous aout leaving the country but I'm looking for new experiences and I want to master Spanish. I've studied it for 6 years; 4 of them formally and 2 of them informally.

Thanks so much in advance.

Sincerely,
Yingfah

I might be able to accommodate that request, to some degree, if Mexico City interests you. PM me if you like.

First thing you might want to know is that generally its just about impossible for a non-EU Passport carrier to work legally in Western Europe. There are exceptions of course, but its a handy rule of thumb for newbies.
