Hola,

I was wondering if someone could send me an email with a list of all the English institutes in Santiago, Chile.

I am looking for a job for late June/early July. I am a Spanish teacher right now in Chicago and have been for two years....I have a masters and am getting my TEFL online certification(don't have much time to take classes)....do you think it will be difficult for me to get a job teaching English in Santiago in June/July? Does anyone have any recommendations about people to contact.

Housing: How much do you generally pay a month to get a room in someone's apt. I lived in Santiago for a year abroad with a family, but never had to deal with housing.

Any comments, help, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Becky

Hey Becky!

Check out my message about "School listings in Chile - for anyone interested". I posted a list that I had there.

Becky,

I just wanted to let you know that my boyfriend and I are looking to leave NY to come live in Chile in the Fall/Winter of 06. We both have a master's degree but still need to get our TEFL's. I have a teaching license too, in Elem. Ed. I would really like to learn how your planning is going. Did you start an online TEFL program? If so, through who?

I have lived in Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia and they were all amazing places. Can't wait to see more.

Mary
