Question Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any info re: Teflocal in Argentina, as a company. I had a phone interview with them and I was told I would start mid-March. I am a bit nervous about taking a job over the internet, and flying all the way from Japan if something ends up being not kosher. They seem great and I am jazzed to go to a new country, but I have freinds who have had bad experiences in taking jobs over the internet. SPECIFICALLY: does anyone know if they have a history of not paying teachers, not being a good company etc.? I am really excited about the opportunity to be one of thier trainers, but the tefl world can be a bit scary, and, as thier website says, you should check out a companys rep before assuming anything.

Any info?

THANKS!

GRACIAS

LML

I got certified with TEFLocal (the one on Junn, I don't think there are any others), and yes, they are exceedingly honest.

Sounds like you could end up being one of my teachers!

I'm headed for BA on Feb. 28, thought I would get settled before class starts the following Monday.

I look forward to meeting you! And FWIW, I've had positive vibes in all my interactions with the folks at TEFLocal so far.

I can't wait to get old of this COLD! Smile

So this is a good school? There was another post questioning its credentials...

As I said, I got my certification there, and everything was on the up and up, including helping me find jobs afterwards. I would definitely recommend it.
