with bt-store, you have to depart from the US- i'm going from beijing to lax. elong.net has super cheap flights, i don't think you can beat $350 to the states.

I just recently used these guys. Their quoted internet prices are quite different from their actual prices.

Original price on their site was 5500RMB Beijing - Vancouver return.
This went up to 6300RMB following after a phone converstation on basis that tickets were no longer avaliable, and then up to 7300RMB after they 'convienently' forgot to add on associated taxes.

www.bt-store.com

I just bought three one way tickets to Shanghai for $1808USD--that is pretty much the price that Air Canada quote for a round for me from Toronto to Shanghai--one person round vs 3 people one way. I'll take the 3 people one way option. Especially when all 3 of us have to get there! We're also flying out of Detroit instead of Toronto so those living in Southwest Ontario should consider Detroit instead of Toronto--cheaper taxes!

I went into my local flight centre. Few things surprised me: Air Canada.

1) I cannot get a one-way ticket to china.

2) I cannot get a ticket for longer than one year. Nor can i extend the one year ticket. There is apparently no way to stay for longer than a year.

All this seems strange.. Is this standard?
