No replies yet, so I'll just point out the obvious that she could probably get a position with BKC or Language Link. Also look at the posting for CREF in the International Jobs branch.

Language Link employ only native speakers or Russian teachers of English. I think the reasons for this are pretty clear.

Sorry, didn't know that about LL. BKC certainly DOES employ non-native foreigners to teach English, for example I've met a couple of Czechs and a French woman.

What can these teachers offer the students? At least the Russian teachers of English can explain things in the students' own language. Additionally, no work permits or visas need to be arranged.
I've worked with a couple of teachers in Moscow who were neither native-speaker or Russian and they weren't very popular with the students who couldn't see what they were paying for. I have to say I agree with them.

Well of course it was not my job to evaluate these people but they seemed to be just as good as any other teacher.

I can certainly say that BKC always has its eyes on the rouble, and these teachers wouldn't have been retained by the school if their students didn't like them.
