I reported the way they mistreated my contract situation to tokyo's labor consulation service. I was unsatisfied with their explanation for not getting a contract renewal. the labor service actually met with EAST headquarters to try and get a better explanation for me. of course they fed them the same b.s they gave me. but if you're an unsatisfied employee who is unfairly getting jerked around by them, don't hesitate to get advice from the labor consultation service. i already put them on their radar. hopefully they will start treating their foreign teachers better in the future. don't be intimidated by EAST's 'driller killer', lousy branch managers or HTs.
