Hello all!
I'm going up to Granada next weekend (Apr 7-10), and was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations with regards to bars, nightlife, etc. I have the Rough Guide To Central America, but it's not exactly comprehensive in regards to San Jose, so I don't expect any better when it comes to Granada.
Toodle-pip!
Wink

Granada is a very small town and theres quite a few places to dance and listen to great music. Of course i cant remember their names!!! However, i stay at the Bearded Monkey Hostel and a good bar is just around the corner. Dnt laugh, these are typical latin american directions! There are at least 40 Hostels in Granada and enough tourists to fill them, Just ask anyone and theyll point you in the right direction.

By the way, I highly recommend going to the Bearded Monkey and taking a day trip to the Monkey Hut up at Laguna del Apoyo. They have a web site, www.thebeardedmonkey.com and check out the Hut. Its only 20 min. outside of Granada, a volcanic lake , warm, clean and lots of fun.

cheers
