A response to a previous post of mine suggested that I could have the 90-day duration restriction on my 1-year F visa lifted somehow? Is that true? Would that mean that I could stay in China for a whole year on that single F visa? How much would that kind of thing cost me? Can I only do it in Shanghai or Beijing? |

As you - should - remember, your visa seemed to most of us a bit special; I don't think anyone can advise you under those circumstances since you are a sort of guinea pig.
I have never heard you can make such alterations to your visa but the only authority to have the facts at their finger tips are the PSB.
Note, however, you will need a regular, legal crash pad - most probably a tourist hotel that forwards your registration card.
If you are not registered with the PSB via a hotel or have not applied for residency in town to the PSB your application will definitely be ignored. |
