Do the hire from California and do they interview in the states?
Is there an site comparable to the AEON site? |

A word of warning, Alexismom, about that "BigDaikon" forum. It does have a lot of current and ex-Jet's but it's also infamous for it's flame-fests!
So read it at your own risk and with a thick skin! |

I will add that according to recent reports out of 4000 JETs bigdaikon is frequented by a hardcore of 20-40 'regulars'. Not exactly a representative sample of JET teachers.
Most high schools I believe have a bar on their software so teachers can not access BigDaikon via school computers.

The interviews are conducted through the japanese embassy in the United States. the next application is in November so you have to wait until then. No information on the 2007 intake will be available until September. |
