The hard part is to understand the English in your post - you know about these jobs - you want to know about these jobs? That is the hard part/this is the easy part - into what context of the post do these sentences fit - in relation to the post what do they mean?
You want to get a good job here teaching English - then some skill in the language would be useful |

Why would anyone work is some far flung place like that if you had an MA or better?
Are you lonely Malsol? |

Lushan in Jiangxi is one of the nicest places I've been to in China. Lovely mountain scenery, clean air, and cool in summer. Nanchang, the provincial capital, seemed a bit boring but nowhere near as ugly, polluted or noisy as some cities. If someone was looking for a 'real China experience' they could do a lot worse.
Malsol, try posting a job ad on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TeflChinaJob - it's a mailing list with a lot of 'old China hands', some of whom are very well qualified. Now is a good time to recruit, as university teachers are coming to the end of their contracts and thinking 'where next'. Money isn't everything for some people. Quality of life and a pleasant work environment matter too. |

For the record, Nanchang is an old dirty polluted city and there isn't any heat in the buildings or classrooms during the winter. Experienced it. |

There is no heat or air con in any classroom South of the Yellow River. That is China.
There is no Chinese City free of pollution. |
good point. and even the places that do have heat, here in zhengzhou for example, it isnt that great. i still had to buy a portable space heater from my apartment. when i visit chinese colleagues here in winter they all stay in their flats with jackets and shoes on.....
i may check out jiangxi prov. soon. never been there. lushan is supposed to be quite nice.
