Are there enough English schools in Bratislava that a person could show up in August and find a job(s) starting in September?

So far I can only find the names of three schools, but I think two of them might be the same organization. Are IH Bratislava-The Calendonian School and Akcent IH Bratislava the same school?

IH Akcent Bratislava and The Caledonian School are two different organisations.
I think it's better to contact them and secure a job in advance. You can always watch out for their job ads on tefl.com, or go directly to the schools' web sites and let them know you're interested.

I would definitely secure a job before you go unless you have a good amount of money to take with you. Although it is Eastern Europe it is not cheap, especially Bratislava. I lived there for a year and ended putting a lot of my credit card-English teaching doesn't pay well. I worked for City University, I would not recommend them. But if you can't find any other job then work for them.
Good Luck
