I know this has been addressed before - everyone usually says "in the middle of the month" - but when exactly is this. Is it a fixed day (like the 14th of every month) or something like that? This is for those who are working through institutes, btw. |

Not a set date, but it's usually within five to seven working days of the first of the month. |

I guess it's different for each individual intitute. My two are around the 10th of the month unless that falls on a weekend then it's the following Monday. |

sounds pretty accurate and yes this would be work through institutes, private students , depends on what you agree with them upfront I guess. It's really not that bad, there are good institutes out there and I'm quite happy with the ones I work for.

Hi,
Oh yes this is very important , is it the first, the 7th , the 14th of the month ??? Also do they give you a check, cash, transfer??? In madrid, finding work was very easy and how you got paid was pretty straightforward, the academies I worked for - one gave me a check, one paid my salary into my bank acount. Do the academies in argentina pay like this as well? Thanks.

Well one of mine pays cash and the other pays with a cheque which you take to the local HSBC bank to cash.
Some institutes will pay straight cash, others require you to produce an invoice (factura) for your hours. Try to avoid these institutes if you can because in order to get facturas you have to have a CUIT number which is like a tax number and it's a pain in the arse to get. |
