Hey guys, know this has prob been posted in the past but I wanted some up to date info! Can I ask what the going salary is in Spain? How much do you need to earn to live comfortably? are salaries better than in Italy (whcih I haer are low compared to COL!)

| I work for 3 academies in Madrid and they pay me between 15-18 euros an hour. I share an apartment with 2 other English teachers and on average we work around 20 to 25 hours a week. I know there are some academies that pay higher than what I get but I remember one guy wanted to send me to the boonies, you had to take the metro, then the bus, then walk a long way around what they call a - poligono industrial - and there was just too much travelling involved. Hi,
I on the other hand earn a whopping 11 euros an hour ... that's in Barcelona, think the pay is higher in Madrid.
