Mine's new and I'm kind of enjoying it (though my old lady neighbors don't care for it and one of my friends says I looked much friendlier and intellectual before, now I look like a 'demon' Shocked )

To what extent does it affect your life in places where, say, it's linked to religion, or the locals don't have more than a few pluckable hairs on their faces?

I had a Jim Morrison type beard in Greece......didnt go down at the school well at all....they kept asking me when i was gonna shave...for 5 months!!!!!
But Greek men in their macho existence wear a d.a.m.n fine beard and i was just trying to fit in!!!!

Thailand didnt dig beards......too bad but i didnt have one anyway.

In the Arabic Gulf mighty fine beards are all over the shop and quite right too. Thats just how it should be......Beardliness is next to Godliness and all that!

I am clean shaven now but its only a matter of time!
Looking at Mr Daves face i think i might start cultivating one straight away!!!!!!

He does look distinguished.

For you brits out there(men) Loaded magazine used to do a 'seperated at birth' thing. Do you think that Dave with a tash looks like/is identical to Dave Seaman(aka Mr pringle), the ex arsenal and England goalkeeper.
Dave... a man of many talents

Uncanny. As well as being further proof that moustaches are NEVER acceptable.

Maybe that's a British thing, because I think he looks better in a moustache! The beard, on the other hand, makes him look like he's trying to disguise weight gain. I'm sure Dave is not going to take grooming advice from a guy named "sickbag," anyways! Laughing
