| I arrived BJX today without a return or onward ticket with no problem. Because I will be returning to the US in June, I only asked for 90 days. The immigration officer asked if I was sure I only wanted 90 days and said nothing about supporting myself while I was here. I am actually only on a scouting mission at this point, so I didn't bring my laptop or a bunch of books with me. I do have my resume and some teaching materials on a CD just in case, but they didn't even see it. |

| I've flown into various cities in Mexico over the years and have never been asked to show my return ticket. Even when I've asked them to give me 180 days on my tourist visa, I was never asked one question. Even if they do ask, I think the comments about traveling and flying out of another place would work just fine. . . |
