Seems like a lot of people are heading out to GDL, but is anyone gonna try out Oaxaca? Rolling Eyes
If you are, it would be lovely to hear from you! Drop me a line on [email protected].
I arrive in Mexico in two days aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh and I'm feeling anxious, sad and excited all at the same time. Still can't believe I'm doing this!

Hi Sharmi,

I keep thinking about Oaxaca, I *really* like it there too... Ok. I'm just going to admit it, I really like almost all of Mexico! But my 3 favourites are Guadalajara, Oaxaca and Merida. The only reason I'm not putting Oaxaca first is that its a bit tricky to get to the beach. And I really like the beach!

But, I've heard around that Oaxaca is fine for getting work too....

Best wishes!

Lozwich.

Don't forget that Oaxaca is a state as well as a city. I've live in the Mixteca region since 1998 and I love it (of couse it has its downs as well as its ups--just like the road to Oaxaca city). If you have some questions about Oaxaca, I'd be happy to try to answer them.

I have some job contacts in various regions of the state of Oaxaca for qualified, experienced teachers who aren't afraid to live off the beaten track.
