Hi,
I'm planning on getting a working holiday visa and going over to Japan in the Fall. I'd like to live in Tokyo.
What would be the best way for me to find work there?
I'd also like to live not far from this jiu jitsu academy www.axisjj.com

Scour the Internet for job postings, line up a flight and place to live, then notify prospective employers when you will be here so you can minimize down time prior to interviews. Get a cell phone when you arrive, so people can contact you. Have a nice looking resume and cover letter, and dress well for the interview. |

Hi.
That's quite a nice area. I live pretty near. Was around there Sunday on my bicycle. What kind of accomodation are you thinking about? Rent is quite high around here, but I feel that it's worth it. You are probably aware that you'll pay about 6 months up front when you get an apartment. That station is good. It's not far from Shibuya on a convienient line.
Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions about this area or about finding an apartment.
Good luck.
