I'm afraid  my question is going to be slightly dull.
I would like to come and work in HK, but am unsure of what kind of job I'll be able to find. I am a UK citizen and a BA (Hons) holder with six years TEFL experience in Singapore, China, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Whilst I've been in the game a long time I haven't got round to doing my CELTA yet and keep on saying 'This will be the last contract. I promise...', but it never is.
What do you think my prospects of getting a decent paid job in HK are? Are they fanatical about the great paper chase?
Also, how slavishly do they like to work their teachers in HK? Is it a 30 hr contact week or can we get it down to a nice and mellow amount whilst watching the pennies roll in?
