Does anyone have any experience of working in a foreign country...not declaring/paying all of your income tax and then leaving the country? Does the taxman chase around the world after you?? |

Which taxman ?
Republic of Ireland ?
Australia ?
New Zealand ?
United Kingdom ?
Perhaps you mean the USA ?
Be more specific and do not assume that we are all citizens of the US of A !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Not all posters who make this error are from God's Own Country BUT a large number are. It is I beleiev THE ARROGANCE OF POWER. They really see the world as being two places. The USA and Elsewhere. |

matador, many countries have reciprocal tax agreements with each other which means that something could actually follow you around. I believe you are a UK citizen (I base that assumption on a post I believe you once made about business English) so I would check on UK-German tax treaties which might actually fall under some European Union agreement. |
