If I had to choose I would want to be Yusuke Ono from the manga, Antique Bakery but you shouldn't mention that to any of your students. Ono-san lives my fantasy life.

A bit off-topic here... upon reading the title 'Antique Bakery' I thought, hey, that sounds familiar... Did you know that it was a J-drama series first? At least I think the drama came first, seeing how the manga was produced in '05 (not sure when the drama came out, but I bought it on VCD back in '01). Ono was not explicitly gay in the series though, in fact he was quite admired by the ladies. Anyway, if you haven't seen it I recommend it! Just an overall feel-good drama, with lots of tasty treats...

I had no idea. As far as I can tell only the manga has been released in the U.S. I usually don't like manga. I think it is tied to feeling too foolish reading "comic books" as an adult. Somehow that doesn't apply to watching anime. When I broke down and bought Antique Bakery I kept thinking that it should have been an anime. Vol 3 is supposed to arrive in the mail any day now.
All those poor ladies who admired Ono. All the good ones turn out to be be gay. They should have known.
