Does anyone have any idea where I might find bentonite clay and psyllium husk in Santiago? |

I don't know the products that you are after, however there is a health food store on Av. Providencia (around Suecia) and there's also one on Av. Irarraval (near to Pedro De Valdivia) in Nunoa. |

Hi,
Also don't know the specific products you are looking for. Are they food products or cosmetics? (please excuse my ignorance.)
I came across an "alternative" store on Merced between Mosqueto and Lastarria. They sell hand made soaps, cosmetics and natuaral foods too. Kind of a cheaper version of Lush. You could give that a try.
Good luck. |

Hi there all,
This is just additional info on the above post about a natural cosmetics store in STGO. It's a lot like lush, only a lot cheaper.
They have a website which is http://www.reina-abilene.com/
The address is Merced 483 in Santiago, but they also have stores in other areas, according to the website.
I recently bought some stuff there and, as a fan of all things natural (at a reasonable cost, of course) I just thought I'd spread the word.
Hope some of you try it out. |

there is actually also a LUSH in Santiago, at the Falabella up between p. de valdivia and Los Leones.
Health food stores... depends what you're looking for. Jumbo has an okay selection of some gringo and german health food items.
There are two tostadurias that I can recommend, Puerto Rico on 21 de mayo and san pablo, no sign. And Talca, one location on miraflores btwn huerfanos and merced. nuts, grains, etc.
Another health food store on San Antonio or McIver near merced., and the bio natura and other ones mentioned as being near suecia and irrarazaval.
A little teeny store on Nueva Amunategui as well (little alley off of Amunategui btwn moneda and alameda. |
