I have spring allergies but it usually means sneezing to no end. Not in Gliwice though- here I have been coughing non-stop for two weeks and simply cannot breathe. Is there something in the air here that's causing it? (I know about the coal mines but they are supposedly defunct.) More to the point, what can I do/where can I go regarding this? I take tons of meds but they are not working. I have a lot of post-nasal drip I have not had before and it's causing a good portion of the coughing.

Thanks. Any non-fatal suggestions out there? Dying in this town so does not appeal....

I had the same problem there too. It seemed to happen to me every quarter.

I didn't have any success with any Polish medicine. Even when I got prescriptions it took at least 2 weeks for me to feel better.

My advice is to drink more so you'll worry about the headache instead.

Try some Loratadina, it's like Claratyne. Works for me.

I have dreadful allergies, but I don't seem to be having prob's just yet this year.
