Haven't looked at the draw but on recent form I reckon England have the best chance they've had in years.

Overall champions - Germany? Don't make me laugh! If they qualify from their Group I'll be impressed. But then I'm usually wrong!

I am amazed anyone could fancy Germanys chances. They are a team with a great history, but currently have an absolute garbage team (Thankfully!!)

German conditions aren't so different from English conditions, and we did pretty well out in the humidity of Japan/Korea last time with a worse team than now, losing to a seriously good Brazil side. Home advantage has nothing to do with winning. The best team over the month will win.

Who won the last world cup, usa 94, mexico 86, spain 82 etc?

Those who have won at home have been great teams. No other factor involved.

Korea might not have got so far if they hadnt been assisted so much by the officials!! lol
