Group A
Group B
Group C
Group D
Group E
Group F
Group G
Group H
2. Overall Champions
3. Dark Horse |

Haven't looked at the draw but on recent form I reckon England have the best chance they've had in years.
Until someone jumped on Rooney's foot again...
Overall champions - Germany? Don't make me laugh! If they qualify from their Group I'll be impressed. But then I'm usually wrong! |

I am amazed anyone could fancy Germanys chances. They are a team with a great history, but currently have an absolute garbage team (Thankfully!!) |

Group G France
S. Korea |
I am hoping on prayer that Korea gets its skinny arse kicked back to Korea with its tail between its legs in shame. I can't take another 4 years of weekly replays of ANOTHER good WC run. I'd like a little peace and a little less smug self-importance from Koreans in the next few years. Too much to ask?
Oh, and I want Japan to do better than Korea this time around. That will shut them up like nothing else will.

Sorry not very likely, Japan got a much tougher group.
On Germany,
Who did Brazil beat in the final last time round? With a "garbage' team.
Ask the Japanese and South Koreans about home advantage. Who won France 94? |

German conditions aren't so different from English conditions, and we did pretty well out in the humidity of Japan/Korea last time with a worse team than now, losing to a seriously good Brazil side. If Rooney can't play that's going to seriously dent our chances, and we do have a history of losing big games. Saying that, who are the current world rugger champions? And bar a little slip up against Pakistan the best cricket team in the world?
If Japan and Australia can do us a little favour and knock out Brazil though I'll be buying a few Japan-sized beers for anyone from those countries. Bring it on! |

Home advantage has nothing to do with winning. The best team over the month will win.
Who won the last world cup, usa 94, mexico 86, spain 82 etc?
Those who have won at home have been great teams. No other factor involved.
Korea might not have got so far if they hadnt been assisted so much by the officials!! lol |

Didn't say it was likely. I just would like for it to happen. Wishful thinking.
