Hello. I'm planning to be in Buenos Aires in the new year to see family and to teach English. I have a few cultural questions regarding the music scene in the city (not that the answers will change my decision to come. Just wanting to know a little more.). Is there an underground rock, art-rock or experimental music scene there? Are there venues where these kind of musical events take place? Is it possible to become involved, or are places to perform few and far between? I'm also very interested in the many other types of music the city and country has to offer. So if anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.
