I always hear about the amount of money everyone is saving in Japn. Is there anyone who has been succesful investing in the Nikkei? If so, how did you do it? |

Investing in any market takes skill and insight. Most foreign investors lack both of these when it comes to the Nikkei. This would include myself... so I do what about 97% of the other foreign investors do: I turn to those that do know what it takes.
I should tell you in advance that you should not enter this market without investing heavily. It is not a dabble market.
There are a number of firms that have excellent services as well as portfolios. You will have to familarize yourself with your countrys income laws etc. as well as Japanese tax and income laws. |

the nikkei was close to 40,000 in 1989. now it's just struggling above 10,000. it might be a good bet over the next decade, depending on how the economy goes.
you could use a managed fund/unit trust. eg;
