I am a simple country cousin from far parts of the former Empire. As a country bumpkin I often get lost in the great city of Konstantiniye.

Who can give me a link to an interactive map ?

A street map is not much use because most of the streets have the same names:

Various combinations of :

Ataturk
Ismet Inonu
19 May
23 Nisan
Republic
Simsek

The locals often neither know nor care what the names are.

When you get to Kadiky, ask a simit man where the PTT is (pe te te).
Akmar passage is off a street behind the PTT. On this street you will find street sellers with second hand and copied books. Just in case the simit man tries to send you to a PTT out in the middle of nowhere, the post office that l am refering to is the main one quite near the sea and ferry boats.
