Dear Kaw
It sound slike SUC is really bad. I read the info on the board months ago and thought no way. It's such a shame about the new dean leaving - from what you'v esaid previously i thought things were getting better - butthe repeated ads on tefl.com are a bit of a give away in themselves. I'd never go there, regardless of how badly i want to get out of the UK!!!
All the best, for wherever you're off to next.

Hi kaw and tj,
This just rather reinforces the advantage of that MA and some experience so that you can get into the slightly more 'organized' places. As time goes on it seems that way too many of these 'private colleges' are falling apart from lack of professional management caused by shoestring budgets and poor planning.
Sorry that you couldn't get that release letter, KAW.

Hi tj and vs
Well here I am back in the UK now and relaxing abit before heading off. Next stop Kuwait - will see how it goes. Haven't seen contract yet - am waiting for them t email it to me to checkout before I commit.
Still hoping on getting a release - or at least back into Oman to work - the rulings may have changed but nobody I have spoken to yet is entirely sure - still a few things up my sleeve to try though so keep your fingers crossed for me.
Anyway had better get going - good luck.
