Jesus!

Anyways, my critique. A country such as Cambodia has about one post a month here because they have a very lively forum of their own. I assume that to be the case with many.

I suspect that the Ecuador poster was me, somehow. Embarassed

But there are a few others here who post occasionally- I guess it depends on how you chose your sample.

I also wonder about what this says about internet access vs available entertainment.

I post a lot, because a lot of my current workload requires me to work in an office, with computer and internet, as well as occasional 5-15 minutes of down time, which is long enough to post, but not long enough to leave.

When I taught full time, I only had internet access in cafe's, and only checked my email one or two times a week. Never posted on this chatboard, or any other.

More than a global view of the market, your list may tell us something about internet use in various countries.

best,
Justin

But 85 is a higher per capita number for the UK population than 191 for the US.

In the Uk there is this site;

http://www.talent.ac.uk/

It is mainly oriented to ESOL, as opposed to EFL, teaching and basic skills in the FE sector but still of interest if you're in the UK.

There is also a teacher's board on the TES website but it is more oriented to secondary and primary schoolteaching than ELT it is imnteresting nonetheless. They too have their grievances.
