Don't suppose anyone knows the process over in Mexico of getting a motorcycle license? I've heard that the car license is rather easy (for a local), curious about motorcycle, inparticular for a foreigner...
Also, how are motorcycles priced in Mexico, relative to the United States I guess...
Considering motorcycling around parts of the country, any thoughts?
Many Thanks,
Matthew |

You might want to look at this thread too...

As for licence, I have been using my Canuck motorcycle licence for two years and the cops (in my local area anyways) don't seem to care. I have been told that the local test for both car and motorcycle is strictly a paper exam.
Motorcycles tend to be significantly more costly than the USA, especially used; bikes don't seem to 'devalue' as quickly here as in the USA.
A good article about motorcycling in Oaxaca...

I don't entirely agree with some of his advice, but overall a good read. |
