I'm interested in teaching English in Vietnam. I have a Bachelor's in English, A CELTA Certificate and three years teaching experience.
Can anyone recommend any reputable schools in Vietnam???? Could be major cities or small towns.
Thanks for your help.

There are plenty of reputable schools in Vietnam, but it is a case of 'buyer beware'. Talk to as many people as you can and when you are interviewing ask for references from former employees. Your interview is an interview for them as well. |

you have to be aware before you come to vietnam looking for work, the situation is getting more and more competitive and the job opportunities are dwindling. the good schools who offer the highest pay / best working condidtions are holding on to thier veteren teachers. teachers with out the proper qualifications and or the newbies will find few hours and low salary available. in addition the govt has cracked down on foreign workers and especially teachers. they are requiring proper documentation and a work permit, which again, has dramatically limitted the number of jobs at reputable schools. sadly, the good old days of showing up and getting a teaching job for "high pay" are over. consider Korea. i am ! |
