I'm a teacher that has experience teaching EFL in Korea, is certified w/master's in education in the US, and has work experience in general ed. in the US as well.

I was wondering what experiences people have had with public school contracts vs. private school contracts. Comparisons would be helpful.

Has anyone had experience with the recruiter Omega Multiplatform/teach world experience?

Also, what would you consider red flags on a contract or job posting from a school or recruiter?

Are there questions that you wish you had asked in the interview process and what are they?

Schools or recruiters you've had good experiences with? (I already know that I'm staying away from the large chains, but any further suggestions would be helpful.)

What schools have helped facilitate your growth as an educator?

What sort of schools pay well?

Thanks in advance!

Aristotle you have never really clearly explained why your blanket ban on recruiters and chain schools in general should be taken seriously. What is the exact basis for your opinions? Considering that each recruiter and each school within a chain school is individually owned and operated - why should we believe that your comments have validity?

Finally, assuming that chain schools and recruiters were crossed off the list of possibilities, then where do you recommend that teachers work and find work?
