I think you'll have a tough go of it. The shortest bachelor degree runs about 3 years. Without it, you cannot legally work in Taiwan.
You could, however, get a job and do visa runs every 30-60 days.
But I don't have no truck with folks as does that there. |

Pop Fly's information is not entirely correct.
There is no government requirement in Taiwan for a university degree. One may work in a buxiban with as little as a college diploma from a two year program and a TESOL certificate.
Whether one can find work with that kind of educational background is open for debate. Many schools now require a bachelor's degree, some even demand a 4 year degree. With a lesser education one may be forced to work in places the university graduates won't go. Such communities tend to be somewhat isolated and often require a trip to one of the larger cities for entertainment.
Many universities offer on-line degrees, but I am led to believe on-line degrees are not generally recognized here. |

Yeah thats exactly what i was hopeing to hear, i am currently living in rio and about to head off to london, After this i think a more secluded place will be exactly what the doctor orded.
Do you know the best way to persue a job offer under these circumstances, i dont particularly want to rock up and take it by chance!! |

Your job hunt is best conducted with you in Taiwan. By all means peruse the job postings, but don't sign any contract until you're here and have had a chance to see what you're getting into. |
