Don't use the freight or carrier companies since it is a lot of hassle and you'll end up paying a lot of money to get it through customs.

Instead try to make a deal with one of the more dodgy airlines like Onur or Fly air. They sometimes let passengers bring up to 100 kg (esp. Fly air).

Fly Air?? Never heard of them. Do they fly NL-Tr? The latest I heard about OnurAir is, that they were banned from EU airports because of bad technical maintenance of their aircrafts but I did not check if this ban is now lifted.
I'll look into that!

Onur is flying like never before. Fly air is a charter airline that is normally being used by the touroperators that sell package holidays. Another option could be Corendon Airlines. A one way ticket Ams-Ist costs about 100 and you might also be able to make a deal with them about your luggage. Check out

www.hotticket.nl and www.corendon.com .

By the way, how does anybody not like drop? I don't understand.

mmmhh, Corendon Air....I flew with them last year and it was quite an experience. But if I can make a deal with them I am even willing to put up with them again!

And to clarify the "drop" question: IMHO you have to be Dutch to like it, mothers have to feed their toddler "drop" and that's how everybody here gets used to this stuff Smile
For my part I can't help it, I think it's simply disgusting and I will never understand how anyone can like it!

Well, between seal clubbings, we like to sit back for a nice long black licorice chew sesh followed by some fine beer on the back steps, watching the elk pass by. Its a good life.
