That would depend on one's stance with regard to change in language. Nevertheless, if we are going to be teaching a TOEFL prep class and the students have the goal of obtaining a decent score, then we as a teachers have a duty to help, regardless of personal fellings regarding the acceptability of new grammatical forms. |
