hey,
I just got a message from my friend that the language school from Warszawa where she teaches needs native speakers of English. so I immediately thought about you here's their ad:
NATIVE SPEAKERS
to go to
A SUMMER CAMP
for children
to work with students
aged 11-12
When: 28th June � 11th July

I think it would be the idea of trying to keep a load of hyperactive 11 year olds entertained for a whole month that put most people off...
I don't know what's worse - happy-clappy singalong classes with kids, or the sullen apathy of teenage FCE... |

Those who were interested have already contacted the school directly and I know that many teachers responded so don't expect that those who compete for the job will display it here among their competitors  |

Thanks for the post and for info anyway Wojtek. It would have been nice to know the wages, perhaps then more people may have applied. |

I believe it was around 1.500zł for the 2 weeks with accom and food provided. Not bad and the conditions sound good but it's probably too short for most teachers who need to earn their money over the long summer. |

I'd have applied, except that it overlaps the period when my mother's here from AU... so I'd rather not.  |
