Hi people. I need to find a place to get 1-inch photos taken for the final processing of my residency visa. I brought over many pictures and those have worked until now, but now these have to be one inch only. I live in Nantou City, and the only photo booth that I know of here is no longer there. Am going to Taipei this weekend. Does anyone know of a place to get them done in Taipei? Thanks a million!

There are plenty of places to get them done. A lot of photo processing places will provide that kind of service and you should be able to get it done in Nantou City. I am sure people in little old Nantou want photos too.

In Taipei there a couple of places in the area around the train station near to the large Mitsukoshi department store. I went to a Konica place when I first arrived in Taiwan and got them done there. That was a while ago now and I am afraid I don't know the street name.

Why would you want to get one inch photos. Not two inches? Sounds bazarre as a friend had to resubmit his ARC not too long ago as he only had one inch photos. Or maybe I am getting things confused again.

Anyway, those photo places may seem a bit expensive compared to a photo booth but they will give you a CD which you can then reuse to get more photos later on. There are photo booths dotted around the city. There are ones in Taipei train station, Ximen police station, and Renai Rd. hospital.
