Prague Post. www.praguepost.com

However, both jobs and accommodation are best found when you are on-site in the city.

Prague features a large number of TEFL training centres, and the supply of teachers is close to the demand. That said, there is almost always work to be found, barring in August. It just sometimes takes beating the pavements a bit.

Reputable schools (this is true in Europe generally) don't hire from abroad. They've often been burned in the past by distance applicants who misrepresent themselves or who don't show up. They want to see you in their offices, looking professional, CV in hand, before you'll be considered as a candidate for a job.

Housing is a bit tough as well, as housing costs are high in relation to the going rate for teaching salaries. Many teachers share accomodations. The stuff you'll find in the Post is really just the high-end rentals for executives.

It's pretty difficult to impossible to get yourself set up in Prague from a distance, unless you have personal contacts in the city who are willing to help you. The more practical approach is really to come to the city with some savings and start from there.
