Could anyone point me in the direction of a website which lists rental accomodation in Dubai? I need a one/two bedroom place with max rent of about 70k per year.
Aside from Gulf News' classifieds is there any other way of searching for accomodation whilst not in the country? Any options would be greatly appreciated.
If anybody is (or knows someone who is) moving out in August and has a place, could they pass on the info or contact me please?

I suspect that what you find on the net will only tend to be places that you can't afford.  It is a place where you really have to be there to find a place that is both acceptable and affordable.
The way people tend to find the best housing is getting into a car and driving around looking for signs. I would NEVER rent anything sight unseen. You need to be there and see the neighborhood, traffic patterns, distance to work and commuting situation, etc.
Don't worry... things will work out once you are there.
