hi,
it is time for me to get a new visa. Since I had one for three years, I thought that it is what I will get again. But is it possible to get one for five years? I have heard of teachers in Osaka who were able to.

the only person who can really answer that is the immigration official you report to in Osaka- visa lengths seem to be decided on a case-by-case basis by the official who handles your individual file. |

According to the MOFA web site, work visas are good for one or three years only. What were the conditions of those people who got 5-year visas? And, when did that happen? |
