Hi

I have learnt a lot in this forum so far and am quite up going into the teachers business, but have a couple of questions I want to ask. So I am pretty sure you guys can help me to make the right choice.

I have been teaching as a volunteer in Kenya for 9 months (passed the CPE). I work in one of the biggest residental slums in this world, Kibera. Without a doubt I have the best time in my life.

I am going home to Switzerland in september and then want to sign up for one of the teaching courses. I am quite interested to teach in the middle east, but dont know, If I have any chances to get a job there. I think it also depends on the course you take. so what would be the best for me? CELTA? There seems to be a bunch of different ones, and what I have read, CELTA is widely recognized all over the world. But maybe I am wrong?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the advertised jobs in the Middle East ask for a Masters. There are some schools in Egypt that require just a BA. What are your qualifications and where do you want to go?

Any decent job in the Middle East is going to ask for a master's degree unless you are teaching in a local high school (God forbid!).

If no masters - head to Asia!

You should post your question in the ME section. I don't agreethat you need a MA to work in then ME. To get the best paying jobs you do though. Ask the people working there.
