Chicken - The Hard Rock Caf

For something like 1500 yen you get HALF A ROTISSERIE CHICKEN and some sides. But who cares about the sides when you get HALF A CHICKEN and it's covered in yummy BBQ sauce to boot! It's about 10,000,000 times better than the hockey puck at Outback that they claim is BBQ chicken.

Hawaiian - The Yummy Place

In Nagoya... somewhere... near the Hard Rock Caf. Kick ass food for cheap! A big meal runs you under 1000 yen. And they have godly chicken there, too. Fast Food style restaurant but the food is primo quality.

Indian - A) Kohinoor B) Indo

A) Kohinoor is in Osaka under the HEP Plaza on the B1 level food court. best Indian food in Japan - period. A full dinner runs around 2000 - 3500 yen depending on how much stuff you want to stuff into your puss. Everything is godly (except the saffron rice for some strange reason...) good and worth the price. Their Tandoori Chicken runs like 1200 for two pieces but considering you get half a chicken worth of meat it's well worth it. Also, they have 'to die for' lamb tandoori / curry, if you like lamb. I recommend the Strawberry Lasse (with real strawberries!) Mmm... 600 yen is a steal for it. Nice manager too. She's Indian and speaks perfect English (As all Indians should) and is a really sweet lady.

B) Indo is in the Riverside Mall in Motosu Gifu. Small place but their food is good and their prices are CHEAP! A full meal with drink bar runs you 600 yen for lunch and about 1000 for dinner. They have killer sides. Their Indian maki, tandoori chicken, tandoori salad, chicken setta, etc etc are all great. Lots of curry choices and good friendly staff.

One of my favorites:

RESTAURANT NAME: Ichiran
LOCATION: Many in Tokyo and elsewhere.
ADDRESS (or directions if known): see the website http://www.ichiran.co.jp/index.html.
TYPE OF FOOD: raamen
PRICE RANGE: 750 Yen/bowl. Extra pork, noodles, eggs, etc. run about 100-300 Yen
WHY IS IT YOUR FAVOURITE?: Cheap, fast, get to choose the amount of garlic, onions, strength of pepper, noodle firmness, and fat in broth. Also, it's a big secret inside. Private stalls, with a curtain that falls when you receive your order.
