Any other benefits? I assume that this is salary plus housing. A crucial item is a furniture allowance. Flats normally come come with only bathroom fixtures and kitchen cabinets. You will need to add AC units, appliances, and all furniture - which can be pretty expensive.
There should also be health coverage.... and an annual ticket back home for the summer. Standard university summer leave in the Gulf is 6-8 weeks.
