What am I doing wrong?

I sent the image to my pictures. Then I went to my pictures, clicked on properties and wrote down the URL address. I then wrote that address in the space provided at the bottom of my profile here at Dave's. I'm stumped.

The image isn't too big either.

You have the url pointing to something in c:\my documents. Only your own computer can see that folder, so naturally, no one else will see teh image. You need to upload the image onto a web server somewhere, and link to that.

I think I've done it 2 ways. Once the image had the letter/number combo under it or when I clicked on it so I just added that to the avatar's website address with a slash perhaps and then another time I clicked it somehow into my documents or someplace like that on my computer and once there I clicked on it and could get the proper address which was shorter than the original. Keep working at it.
