Okay, its been more than a week and no posts from Guy. He didn't say he was going on vacation, did he? I didn't see anything from him that was ban worthy, so where's he been? Any of you in and around DF had any contact with him?

This is extremely interesting to me! I had PMed Guy a week or two ago, and before that emailed him at his hotmail address, and have received no response. Since last March I had been in touch with his school - I was planning on taking the two-week TEFL course with Teachers Latin America this September, but as of May 19 this year, all contact with them stopped - no responses to my emails, and I was just getting to the part where I was trying to pay for the course! That eventually led me to try PMing Guy.

Well on the one hand I feel better knowing that it's not just me.. that he's really not been around (I'd been keeping an eye out on here for him too!). On the other hand (here's the 'mom' in me), I do hope all is well..! Perhaps the whole school shuts down for a couple of months this time of year?

Well, cheers to all - just thought I'd toss in my 2 cents.

Maybe the flu I had for 5 days(and a recurrence that came 4 days later and lasted for another 3 days) made it to Mexico? Woe to any of you who get it. I swear that flu is the worst flu I have ever had. For three days, I couldn't even get out of bed.

i woke up this morning with a really sore throat... Shocked
hope this isn't the start of something.

guy isn't responding because he wants to see how far a thread with his name on it will go. i'm going to threadjack and ask you all what your favorite saturday morning cartoon theme song was in the 80s. mine was the Gummi Bears.
Leap Frogs had a pretty good one too.

edit: if you were an adult before cartoons had their own theme songs, you can just put in your favorite sitcom theme song. don't be ashamed if it's this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzdnFAq88SM
