I hear this place is hiring again. Is it as bad as people say it is? I'm thinking of returning to KSA. What's the pay like compared to other places?

I had an interview there yesterday. It seemed a pleasant place with friendly people. Fairly stress free.

The salary is SR10,000 with an annual increment of 4%. On the low side for Saudi, but there are 16 contact hours a week, and I was told th the maximum class size was twenty.

You'd probably need a car eventually. The complex appears self-sufficient, though it is in the middle of nowhere. On the other hand it is easy to get to Dammam or Khobar, you can go to Bahrain for a few drinks, come back the same night, and then go the next day, and the accommodation has DSL set up.

Thanks for the info. Just a couple of queries:
Any idea if they throw in free food?
Do they have shopping buses to Al Khobar or Dammam?
How much vacation do you get and do they pay your flights?

Sorry to bother you but the details might be useful for other TEFLers thinking of coming to the kingdom.

I might apply but 10k is a bit low for KSA

I heard from different people that it was okay. Just don,t get involved wıth the moneylenders who murder theır colleagues.
