Has anyone lived in (or seen) one of the nova private apartments? I understand that the normal shared apartments are 3LDK style.
Are the private ones usually a 1LDK, 1DK or the dreaded 1K?? I really hope we get some living space...

Do you get to choose if you want the shared or private?
Sorry no help on the apt. size.
I know this girl worked for Nova, tho I don't know if it was a nova apt, or one she got on her own, but I am betting the former:

You can get a nova private apartment as a couple only if you both arrive on the same day, though I'm not sure why that is a requirement...weird.

I've seen couple apartments with an 8 mat bedroom, 6 mat tatami room, small living room, decent size kitchen, shower room, and toilet room. I doubt it'll be a 1K, but I'm not expert.
If it's a small city, there will probably be other couples living in the building. It'll be good when they move out and give you their old things. |

That size would be a 2LDK (which stands for Living-Dining-Kitchen and 2 rooms).
PS. Toilets are not generally considered to be rooms. |

| wow, a 2LDK would be amazing, though I won't quite get my hopes up yet for a huge mansion like that...thanks for the input guys. |
