I've just returned from a two month break from work and our beloved forum. I don't have time to read everything that has been written. Which threads have been the best of the summer |

I kinda liked the thread about the petulant strike in the China off-topic forum. I dunno, this one here is lacking something. Perhaps it's just me.... |

What is it with the log in on this site ?.... I thought i had died, been banned and come back as Uncle Pervy.
I have to agree with the other posters, who were on vacation also ...but they managed to keep up with their Dave fix!!! What's your excuse dmb?
This thread has all the makings of one of the best p*** takes of all times
As Holly said in Red Dwarf, "April, May, June, July and August Fool".
You want me to tell you what I found interesting? ... the avatar discussion....who cares? Although I must admit I have noticed the change in Capergirl's I rather like the idea of a bird with a puffed up chest and a big beak.......
On this site, for fun... the alcohol thread, good guys, good women, The morphing miss Linda episode.
On the pronuciation site there were a few good hits... and some misses. the app ling provided a brief respite but there seems a notable lack of contributions from regulars since the changeover to the new format.
Those were good threads.................
Now if everyone else just puts in a thread or two that they liked..... just for information to one of our posters missing on vacation we have a very long response for dmb to read and catch up on ( oh yeah! the phrasal verb thread on appling) If we add what is lacking ..........I am afraid it could be this one, or is it just me? |

I enjoyed the "strange things that attract you" thread.

Will, my excuse is that I was on holiday catching up with people. I know it is hard to believe but I had better things to do with my time!! However now that I am back in the Gulf I will be chained to my computer.
The alcohol thread is good though |

I suppose we will have to accept that as a justifiable excuse. Now you are back at work one presupposes that your input on the posting side will increase in direct relation to the amount of work you are avoiding. I wonder if this is a similar occurence with other postees.
how many postees read or post from work...while they are meant to be working?
could be a new post... |
