Make sure that when you are reading your map that it doesn't touch a "native's" hair!

To the moderator:-

I object to Kowlooner's flaming. He or she hasn't mentioned "Susie" explicitly in his / her post being reported here, but if he/ she's is referring to Susie's post (link supplied below),

http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=39617

then, his/ her comments (outlined below)

"Welcome to HK, D! And watch out for unstable western lady TEFLers too. Man, if they've got it out for you, they're liable to do all sorts of crazy things - like write wildly exaggerated letters of complaint and stuff."

are unkind, inappropriate, inaccurate and reflect his/ her own ungrounded opinion.

So he says that you write letters of complaint, then you write a letter of complaint saying that him saying you write letters of complaint is innacurate! Oh the irony..LOL

To the moderator.....

I object to Susie's negative portrayal of HK people.

Surely she is implying here that Hong Kong people are unstable and likely to damage your possessions if they are touched by them.

Her opinions are unkind, inappropriate and reflect his/her generalized opinion.

Please let it be known that Kowlooner objects to Susies use of the third person in reference to himself / herself / itself / theirselves (must cover all the bases). Surprised

And Darrell, welcome again and good luck, but be careful what you say on a forum like this. The "married sex" comment was a little on the silly side. Anyway, hope you enjoy HK and get on your feet quickly enough.
